Summer night questions-

It's important to set aside some time to reflect.  One of the best ways I know how is by asking key questions- Where are you now? Are you happy with what you've done up until now? Look closely at every area of your life: is the relationship with your family the way you'd like it to be? Are you satisfied or comfortable with where you are financially? Are your relationships with friends, co-workers, business contacts as strong and reinforced as you'd like them to be? How do you feel spiritually? Do you feel that you are connected to your inner self? Are you growing as a person? 

Ask yourself some of the questions that maybe your closest friend won't ask you!  Are you a better person than you were a week ago, month ago or a year ago? What are you doing to constantly get better? What are you doing to force growth? What standard do you hold for yourself? Are you living up to your full potential or are you merely satisfying someone else's expectations of you? Can you quantify your improvements or growth? What five things have you been putting off that you know in your heart will give you massive progress? Why are you putting them off? If you keep doing what you are doing currently, where will you be in 5 years? 10 years? Is that what you want? no? why won't you change it? If you had children would they be proud of you? Would someone be interested in writing a book about what you've done with yourself? If it was written, would anyone want to read it? Are you optimistic about the future? Are your 1 year, 3 year, 5 year and 10 year goals written and clearly defined? What will it take to attain those goals? Who do you need to become? What do you have to give up to achieve those goals? Why haven't you given them up? What scares you? What drives you? What makes you want more? What gets you fired up? What or who motivates you to go after what you want? Are you where you thought you'd be a year ago? 5 years ago? No?  What happened? What are you doing to ensure that it doesn't happen again? What's your plan to have a massive result in the next 1,3,5 years? Would you feel comfortable sharing that "plan" in front of an audience of 100,000 people? Would they take you serious? Do you take you serious? What's stopping you from tapping into your potential? Why? Have you given up on yourself? Why? Do you do whatever you do the best you can? No? Why do you do it then? 

What is it that you want out if life? Go out and get it! Reach out and grab it! You have greatness within you! You can do anything you want if you would just believe in yourself!

Check up from the neck up-

We are at exactly the half way mark for 2013. Week 26 out of 52

Great time to take a look back at the past 6 months and see what we've done, accomplished, how are we compared to the goals we set in January, are we progressing in our lives, financially, relationship-wise, mentally, physically?? 

What are we tracking from now until the end of the year if we keep going the way we are? Is it what we want? is it what we expect? Is there something we need to adjust? Is there something we need to change, swap, eliminate? 

Who are we keeping around us? Are they helping us get closer or further from what we want? Are they necessary? Do the friendships or relationships need to be strengthen or eliminated? How are we ensuring that the people that are helping us stick around because we show them the value they provide? How are we ruthlessly eliminating the poisonous people that keep us from attaining the things we want? 

What specific actions do we need to take, what strategic movements are required for us to increase whatever it is that we are tracking by 100%? How do we double the output or productivity of everything we've done in the last 6 months? Work out twice as hard, produce twice as much income, save twice as much, spend twice as much time with loved ones?

2013 will be extraordinary

Unfortunately too many people think that things are beyond their control, that they have to go through life just handling what comes their way- well that's not the case. You have control over your life, you have control over the who you become. You are today what you have attracted to yourself over time, you are the product of you previous thoughts, choices and decisions. You can change what your future will be like by changing what you choose to do now! You can change it by deciding that you will have a plan for your future that you will get all the things you've dreamed of.

1. See it the way it is- you are not going to make much progress if first you don't know where you are. You have to can an honest look and give yourself the "check up from the neck up".

2. See it Better than it is- you have to visualize where it is that you want to be, you need to see what future you want, how do your finances look? How's your health? How's your relationship with your spouse, family or friends? How's your physical shape? What do you see for yourself in this vision?

3. Make a plan- now you have to make a plan and map out how it is that you are going to get your vision, what is it that you are going to do to make your outcome become a reality? What sacrificed do you need to make? What are you going to have to change about you? What specific actions are you going to have to take to get to where you want to be?

Afterwards, when you see yourself actually start to make progress and start seeing results, you'll be hooked to getting more for yourself and you'll never stop, but you've got to start somewhere you've got to start doing something.

Do the best you can where you are with what you have and never be satisfied-
